Bruce Barnet
Vice Chairman
Bruce spent 21 years at Time, Inc. in strategic planning,
development and publishing, including serving as president of Time
Inc. Magazines-Asia.
Previously he served as president and CEO of Cowles Enthusiast
Media, after which he was hired as president and CEO of Cahners
Business Information. From 1999 to 2002, Bruce was a Founding Partner
of Barnet-Bernbach-Carduner, an early-stage investor in Internet-based
companies. He is currently on the boards of directors of Flying
Rhinoceros (Chairman), General Cigar Inc., Club Holdings and Noosh.
He is on the advisory boards of BZZ Agent and Wilton Publishing.
Bruce also is a managing director of JEGI Capital, a New
York-based media private equity firm and is a venture partner at
Interactive Capital Partners in Rowayton, CT. He graduated from
Yale in 1967 and Columbia University Graduate School of Business
in 1969.
